HOW IT ALL BEGAN
It all started in sixth grade when my elementary school hosted a talent show. I asked my music teacher if making a video could count as a talent. She wasn't quite sure, but eventually said yes. I created a short video showcasing a decade-long outdoor trail project created by my science teacher who greatly inspired me and first introduced me to video editing. The video was shown to the entire school, and I still remember kindergarteners gasping at the wildlife on screen and learning afterward that my teacher was moved to tears by the unexpected tribute.
That experience showed me something I've never forgotten: stories have the power to connect people. Seeing how a simple video could spark curiosity and emotions planted the seed for my love of visual storytelling, a passion that continues to shape who I am today.
